Mrs. Ivette Ramos-Celestrin's unique life experiences as a survivor of abuse and homelessness became her driving force to go on to find Hope Central Inc., a non-profit created to assist the impoverished, oppressed, and marginalized individuals in the community by connecting them to services and helping them to live a healthy life.
A graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Sociology. Mrs. Ivette Ramos-Celestrin earned certification as an Anger Management Specialist, Level II, and is pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Grand Canyon University. After Graduation, Mrs. Ramos-Celestrin plans to pursue her status with the Florida Department of Health and become a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern pursuing hours toward her Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Mrs. Ivette Ramos-Celestrin specializes in working with clients ages 8 to 65. Mrs. Ivette Ramos-Celestrin brings an integrative and holistic approach to her work and helps her clients learn to become the best possible version of themselves. Mrs. Ivette Ramos-Celestrin began pursuing training in Play Therapy and has completed Levels 1-3 in Sand-Tray Training. Mrs. Ivette Ramos-Celestrin currently utilizes therapeutic techniques in play, sand-tray, and expressive arts with her young clients and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with her adult clients.
Ms. Ramos is under supervision by Kurt W. Oster, LBS, LICSW, LCSW, ACSW, Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work.
