While many companies consult businesses and non-profit organizations on start-up, development, service delivery, and such, one of the significant areas our C.E.O. saw that was lacking was a company that focused on the client's needs as it pertained to disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.
Over his 15-year social worker career, Mr. Oster has a vast and diverse portfolio of work with numerous non-profits and businesses. Each non-profit and business Mr. Oster has worked with has created his innovative consulting and service delivery approach.
Our C.E.O., Mr. Kurt W. Oster, graduated in 2006 from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and his Certification in Non-Profit Leadership and Voluntary Action and went on to seek multiple graduate degrees.
Over his years serving as a consultant to non-profit organizations and most recently the business community, Mr. Oster has witnessed the challenges faced by organizations and businesses in responding effectively, providing services or goods, and continuing operations after a disaster or incident has occurred. Combing his academic Training and professional experiences as a non-profit leader, social worker, educator, and life coach, Mr. Oster and his team approach their work as consultants with the client at the forefront.

According to Evidence-based practice and research in disaster and emergency management, preparedness, response, and recovery states that a disaster plan is a document which is shared between multiple parties (participants and stakeholders) that lays out and explains the specific tasks, responsibilities, and practices to address response in a particular or series of incidents (Alexander, 2015). In our work with businesses and organizations and thorough research, we know that when a disaster occurs, recovery comes quickly for those who have plans in place as it provides a process for them to recover and continue operations. Therefore, our consultants work with our clients in the development, implementation, review, and, if needed, the exercise of the disaster plan.
