Mr. Kurt W Oster, LICSW-S, LCSW- QS, BCD, Registered Play Therapist, is an internationally renowned public speaker, author, and trainer. Mr. Oster started his career in public service after graduating with an undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. For the past 15 years, he has lectured all over the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Europe on topics such as youth civic engagement, LGBTQ-inclusiveness and intersectionality of services, healthcare and mental health, neurodivergence, and disabilities, dyslexia and learning disabilities, disaster preparedness for businesses and communities as well as mental health professionals.
Since 2018, Mr. Oster has been at the forefront, delivering impactful training and workshops on various critical topics. His expertise covers the Intersectionality of LGBTQ Mental Health Practice, Health Disparities Among the LGBTQ Community, Working with LGBTQ Youth and Families, Supporting LGBTQ Seniors and Long-term Care, Continuity of Operations for small businesses, Disaster Emergency Management, and Behavioral/Mental Health Trauma-Informed Care for children and their families, and Mass Care in Emergency Management.
