Patrick is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Pennsylvania and a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) in the state of Minnesota under the supervision of Kurt W. Oster, LICSW-S, LCSW, QS, BCD, RPT™. He received his Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania with a specialization in LGBTQ+ Policy and Practice. As a psychotherapist, Patrick utilizes concepts from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, bibliotherapy, techniques of sand tray and play, and Vedic psychology.
Patrick is a qualified Vedic Meditation Teacher trained and endorsed by The Veda Center. He completed his residency in Bali, Indonesia, where he was rigorously tested in Vedic knowledge. Patrick has been practicing Vedic Meditation since 2016 and has taught over 700 people to meditate since he became a teacher in 2020. He integrates his offerings in both inpatient and outpatient settings, serving children, adolescents, and adults in the greater Philadelphia region and beyond. Patrick brings over a decade of experience as a professional actor to his work, which informs issues specific to creative professions. Patrick serves as the teaching assistant for a new course offering at the University of Pennsylvania exploring paradigms of consciousness and medicine.
